New support forum launched

A new trial forum has been launched to allow the discussion of any problems or difficulties with the WaterSums software. The forum will be monitored and there will be developer input where necessary. Of course, you can still make any enquiries through the Contact form and we will do our best to respond promptly! You will need to have a WaterSums account to post in the forum. This can be created with the "Create new account link" on the left (or here). If you have any difficulties, let us know through the Contact form.

When posting to the forum, please cooperate with our request that any forum postings do not include any swearing or abuse.

WaterSum 1.0.13 - "Free Trial" analysis patch

Hot on the heels of version 1.0.12 comes 1.0.13. This release includes a fix to a reported problem where the analysis function did not work in "Free Trial" mode. While many other software packages offer free trial with limited functionality, WaterSums provides a free trial with full functionality - except when we make embarrassing mistakes like this one! At WaterSums, we pride ourselves on being responsive in fixing problems, so if you come across a problem with your WaterSums software, please report it through the contact form.

WaterSums 1.0.12

WaterSums Version 1.0.12 has just been released. With this release, support for the undocked Project tree has been enhanced. Other minor enhancements have also been added, including the display of an error file if any errors occur during analysis of the network. In the Introduction tab, there is a Quick Demo which has been updated for this release. Various links in the Introduction tab can now run WaterSums commands directly.

A large number of big and little bugs have been fixed. Refer to the release notes for details.

Extension of Free trial for new releases

The new WaterSums 1.0.11 release is now being finalised. One of the new features is the extension of the 30-day free trial for existing installations. If your free trial has expired, installing the new version will give you another 7 days to try the new version. Various other changes have been made including improvement of support for the un-docked Project tree and the fixing of several bugs. The Quick Demo included in the Introduction tab has also been updated for the coming release and now includes links which directly show some of the functionality described.

WaterSums.com.au is now on line

WaterSums.com.au is now available - aimed at Australian users. At the moment, it gives exactly the same content, but this may change in the future.

WaterSums 1.0.10 has been released

Continuing in the WaterSums 1.0 series, the latest version - 1.0.10 - has been released. The main advances in this version are in making it easier to buy WaterSums and obtain a licence key. The WaterSums Licence Request Tool is now included with this WaterSums release instead of being sent on request.

There are also some bugs fixed, such as in fixing the displaying of errors that occur during a network analysis.

Technical problem with WaterSums blog has been fixed

From the start this blog has had quite a few pictures, but a technical problem has meant that the pictures in this blog were not visible to most people. This has now been fixed, so I hope you will enjoy the screenshots in the blog entries below. If you were one of the people who could not see the pictures, sorry!

WaterSums Release 1.0.9 - Deletion and a new toolbar

Almost 3 weeks have passed since the last WaterSums release and the time has not been wasted. Extended deletion support has been added and a new toolbar for adding, editing and deleting network objects as well.

Deletion

WaterSums is just about ready to be released with the option to delete network objects. Now deletion of objects from a network model can be complex; deleting a node can leave links dangling, while the removal of patterns or curves can leave many network objects orphaned without basic control information. WaterSums aims to make these things easy for the user to handle.

WaterSums 1.0.7 and 1.0.8

Today was a busy day; two WaterSums releases hit the streets. These releases fixed one significant bug and also updated the WaterSums documentation.

They also had an extra morsel for those who like to use experimental functionality in programs; the Project tree can now be undocked. A screenshot of the resizable undocked tree is shown.
